Columbia, S.C. – Prim and Prime Studio of the Arts is a modeling and dance school and agency dedicated to the success of their aspiring talent. Their official opening will be May 26th, 2018, but aspiring models and dancers are encouraged to sign up for auditions, castings and workshops immediately.
Prime and Prim was founded in 2013 by former model and CEO Shaka Pope, whose mission is to provide all art professionals with industry field experience (IFE) both behind the scenes and on stage. Always looking for the “you in five years,” Pope encourages professionals to step out of their comfort zone and take risks.
“I believe that getting hands on experience is the best way to learn. I encourage my staff, models, dancers, and alliances to take risks and empower them with the knowledge and tools to be successful,” she says.
Models interested in immediate access to the industry will have the opportunity to become the faces of Prime and Prim. As a signed model this is the chance to get your foot in the door! From paid castings, portfolio work, workshops, professional training, and endorsements, this is your gateway to advance your modeling career.
Prime and Prim also functions as a dance school. Dancers are trained and coached in several genres (ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, and dancenastics). Dancers also have the opportunity to gain a spot on P&P Elite dance team.
